‘Under Our Feet’ – photographic competition

As part of ‘Under Our Feet’ nidderdale visual arts are holding a photographic competition. All submissions will be shown in a special exhibition exhibition at number 6 studio gallery on Thursday 27 and Friday 28 October. The deadline is Wednesday 26 October at 6:00pm… so get snapping!

Subject: ‘Aspects of the Geology of Upper Nidderdale.’ This could be images of rock structures, stone carvings, stone features, details of geological structures, in fact, anything in stone!

Age groups: 11–16 year olds / Over 16 year olds

Format: Up to 3 photographs can be submitted and entries can be in colour or black and white. Prints should be no larger than A4 (landscape or portrait). Images should not be mounted but must have your name, e mail address and age, if under 16 years, on the reverse.

Judging: Visitors to the exhibition and the ‘Under Our Feet’ project steering group will select a shortlist of images, with the final decision made by photographer Katrina Brayshaw.
