Landscape Partnerships

The Heritage Lottery Fund’s Landscape Partnership programme aims to conserve areas of distinct landscape character across the UK.

Landscape character is what makes an area special, different and gives it its sense of place.

All Landscape Partnerships have to make sure the projects they run:

  • Conserve or restore the built and natural features that create the historic landscape character
  • Increase community participation in local heritage
  • Increase access to and learning about the landscape and its heritage
  • Increase training opportunities in local heritage skills

Landscape Partnerships are all about connecting people with their local landscapes. You can find out more about the UK-wide programme on the Heritage Lottery Fund website.
