Patron: Carol Ann Duffy, the UK’s Poet Laureate
NiddFest aims to establish itself as the first on-going festival celebrating nature in writing for both children and adults, using the Upper Nidderdale landscape to ensure a link between talks and the environment, creating an inspirational festival for the widest possible audience.
NiddFest offers a weekend of talks, debates and workshops by some of the UK’s leading writers, linked to related outdoor events.
The first festival took place on 24-26 July 2015 in beautiful locations around Upper Nidderdale and was a great success.
