This years Heritage Forum focuses on the ruined settlement of Lodge, above Scar House reservoir.
Lodge has its roots in the Medieval and was continually occupied up until its abandonment in the 1920s. Come and hear more about this settlement, including the findings of Upper Nidderdale Landscape Partnership’s Big Dig 2016. Talks in the morning will be followed by an opportunity to visit the remains of the abandoned settlement in the afternoon (this will include a 1.5 mile/2.5km walk from the car park).
